We’re over 2 months into 2022, and
it’s your love & support that
has kept us going as we continue
expanding and scaling. I hope you
enjoy the
Dyte Newsletter for February 2022 🚀
|
We're a bunch of quality-obsessed
freaks; continuous improvement of
our product remains our key
priority, and we have some exciting
new features to share with you this
month. We suggest you update to the
latest version of our SDKs if you
haven't yet:
|
Introducing new Organisation
APIs!
These API endpoints let you create
and manage multiple organisations
(accounts) associated with your
user. You can now manage multiple
organisations under the same user -
enabling you to create multi-tenant
offerings with ease.
|
Consider this your very own
Developer Portal!

|
API to set camera
preferences
|
Introducing APIs that let you set
default camera preference
(front/back) before joining a
meeting. No more shockers when you
turn on your camera anymore ;)
|
Dyte SDK can now optionally be
rendered under Shadow DOM, allowing CSS style isolation
between your app and Dyte SDK.
This lets you keep your markup
structure, style, and behavior
hidden and separate from our code
on the page to avoid any clash,
and the code can be kept nice and
clean.
|
Improved screen sharing UI for
smaller screens
|
Size doesn't always matter, but for
us it does! Integrate Dyte into the
tiniest of spaces and we will just
work; the new UX makes for a
seamless screen-sharing experience,
no matter the window size.
|
We open-sourced our
documentation!
|
We are stoked to announce that we
have open-sourced our
documentation! If you are interested in our
journey of building an in-house
documentation website, read about it
here. The biggest motivation behind
this is to invite you all to
contribute to this project to help
us improve our docs. Feel free to
make contributions by forking
the repository
and raising a PR
