Dyte
Hey,
How have you been? We’ve been building, fixing and growing over the last few months. Super excited to tell you more about it.

Before we begin, Happy October! and you know what this means - Hactoberfest!!! This year, yours truly is entering the mix, more on this soon, so read on.

But first, let’s tell you what we’ve been upto?

What’s new?

Let’s take it form the top, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Interconnect is the setup where two or more different SIP-based networks or systems are connected to enable the flow of voice traffic between them.

Dyte's SIP allows you to integrate VOIP calls from an external service into Dyte's WebRTC meetings. Meaning, you can employ the SIP protocol to establish a connection with our SIP servers, which then bridges the call to participants who are connected via Dyte Client SDKs (WebRTC).

Hacktoberfest
Open source has revolutionised the way we build, collaborate and release software. The transparency and community-driven nature of open-source ensures better quality, reliability, and longevity of projects.

At Dyte, we understand the importance of giving back. We’ve been making libraries, tools, and sample applications public.

Here’s how you too can contribute:
  1. Register for Hactoberfest: on Hacktoberfest official website.
  2. Choose a Repository: Navigate to Dyte's repositories, pick one that interests you, and fork it.
  3. Make your contribution: Whether it's the Sample Apps repo or any other, begin your journey
  4. Create a Pull Request: Once satisfied with your contribution, create a PR.
We are also organizing a Hactoberfest Meetup on 21st October 2023. Get direction, inspiration or network - Register for the Meetup.

Remember, no contribution is too small! So see you all soon? :D
